Our bodies are very intelligent and it is the relationship between ourselves and our bodies that need to be strengthened as our body communicates with us through the skin and other health challenges. The scientific evidence and research mixed with the art of Naturopathic Medicine is the way.

I have a Bachelor of Clinical Science (Naturopathic Studies and Complementary Medicine) and a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). Yes, you definitely can and it is a great course to take if you are wanting to safely transition off safely minimising. Although we need to check what Herbal Medicine and Practitioner only Products you can not take with what contraception you are taking, if you decide you want to stay on contraception. As your hormones are essentially being controlled by synthetic (fake) mechanisms (the contraceptive device or pill), and this may cause contraindications when you take Herbal Medicine which regulates, balances and supports your bodies natural ability to make, create and balance hormones. Either way if you want to safely go off contraception and treat your acne we can help and this gives us access to prescribe Herbal Medicine if you are not on any other contraindicating medication off course. If you want to stay on contraception we can also help. Educating you to eat the right foods and prescribing high strength practitioner only products to balance your system of the essential nutrient deficiencies that contraception depletes our bodies of.

Yes, that is an additional investment, as you will receive the prescription after your private appointment with your practitioner. Your Acne Naturopath, Nutritionist and Herbal Medicine Practitioner can work within your budget to make sure you receive the best Acne to g l o w results. Remember these supplements are only prescribed of necessary, at the highest or most appropriate therapeutic level and in the highest quality meaning it will be the best bioavailability you can get (allowing your body to easily absorb these nutrients). As mentioned any POP’s are an additional investment but you get 1 x 500mL custom made Acne to g l o w - liquid Herbal Medicine tincture made especially for you. This Herbal Medicine is essential to treating the root cause of your acne, especially if you acne is flared up by your hormones in which 90% of cases are. This 500mL of Herbal Medicine will last you roughly 4 weeks (1 month). This is a good time to reassess your skin and see if any additional supplements are needed and what you Herbal Medicine, POP’s dosage could be lowered, swapped or taken out because your body’s innate ability to treat your acne has been nurtured and supercharged. You may start to feel more intuitive and understand exactly what your body needs as the needs of our bodies change daily, that is why it is so important to check in regularly.

I am so passionate about treating the root cause of Acne and i have decided that I can be of the best educator, give the best support, help and guidance taking two intakes of students per year through our course Acne to g l ow. This way I can be more present with my students and give you my 100% attention. 

Yes, we offer a 3 payment plan. One payment will be deducted from your nominated debit/credit card/bank account for the duration of 3 months. We want Acne to g l o w to be accessible to everyone.

This is amazing, you are so excited to finally treat the root cause of you acne holistically from the inside out with Naturopathic Medicine. Hayley or any of the other Skincare Naturopaths, Nutritionists and Herbal Medicine Practitioners are not available for private appointments, until you are or have taken Acne to g l o w and have your own student number, access to the online members portal. This is because we do not want to waste anyone times, time is a precious commodity and if you take Acne to g l o w you will be getting way more out of this than 1:1 appointments. However our practitioner team are available for additional 1:1 appointments you may wish to purchase after your 1:1 20 minute appointment which is included in the Acne to g l o w price. We offer two types of appointments for Acne to g l o w students only, being the  ‘UPDATE’ or ‘INTENSIVE’ appointment. Life can be blessed and busy, I get it. That is why each video will be no longer than 15 minutes and there are roughly up to 5 video lessons in each module. That is 1.67 hours per module/week, which is released on a weekly basis, for the 8 weeks. 8 modules x 1.67 hours = 13.36 hours.
Plus the accompanying pdf work books and Q and A sessions plus live hot seat session, (which are all recorded and posted), you could add another 1.5 hours to your weekly time to invest in your skin health.
1.5 hours per 8 weeks = 12 hours.
So all up for the 8 weeks:
Roughly 3.17 hours per week.

Course Total: 25.36 hours plus additional study, 20 minutes private appointment and the two implementation weeks. 

That is completely up to the individual and how committed you are to implementing the content and your treatment plan into your daily life. It depends on a lot of different variables two of the most important are hormone balancing and stress management. Stress causes inflammation which makes acne considerably worse and harder to treat. I wish I could give you more of a direct answer because I know how frustrating it can be. Most women tend to see noticeable results in their skin in about one month as the skin regenerates roughly every 27 days. To treat the root cause of your acne for long term results, you are looking at 3-6 months to have acne free, glowing skin. If you do everything we teach you to do within our signature course ‘Acne to g l o w’. 

At the Skincare Academy we are open to educating and supporting everyone and anyone with acne prone skin. Although our hand crafted, comprehensive course Acne to g l o w is specifically designed for women in the 20’s and 30’s who have acne. This is because of my specialised training in the field of women’s health and hormones but if you want to take Acne to g l o w and you are a male - you can still take this course, just Module 3 and 4 will not apply to you but the 6 other modules will.

You will still receive everything that each other student receives such as 1 x 500mL of customised liquid Herbal Medicine tincture, Access to Practitioner Only Health Products, 1 x 20 min one on one appointment with our trained Naturopaths, Nutritionists and Herbal Medicine Practitioners plus the specific bonuses will be of great value to you.

Within your 1:1 20 minute appointment you can discuss with your trained Acne practitioner your symptoms and any further clarification you may need in regards to balancing male hormones when treating acne

I get asked this question a lot, in regards to drying out your skin to improve upon your acne. Our skin is a lot smarter than we think and if you start drying out your skin via natural or synthetic products your body will secrete more sebum (oil) to balance the oil/moisture lost. It is all about balance and just because you have oily/acne prone skin does not mean your skin is ‘hydrated’ and still requires appropriate sebum control sensitive hydration to treat your acne for the long term. You can also use serums and oils when you are oil/acne prone skin. I will explain more about this in Acne to g l o w, sign up here. 

This is something we talk about in detail within the Hormones Modules 3 and 4. This area of the face is linked to hormone imbalances as mentioned above and gut dysregulation also taught in Acne to g l o w - Module 6.
